About Santa Specials on Talyllyn Railway

The Talyllyn Railway’s Santa Special offers a lovely festive day out for families looking to get into the Christmas spirit. Departing from Tywyn Wharf Station, the steam train takes passengers on a special journey to Plas Nadolig, a magical Christmas setting tucked away among the trees.

Children will have the opportunity to meet Father Christmas and receive a gift, along with a festive treat such as a cookie or mince pie. Adults can also enjoy complimentary mince pies and mulled wine, while additional festive refreshments will be available to purchase from the King's Café at Tywyn Wharf Station.

With a traditional steam locomotive, Christmas treats and a chance to meet Santa, this special railway experience is a wonderful way to make memories together during the festive season. Advance booking is recommended.

 

  • Departure times: 11am and 2pm from Tywyn Wharf Station.

  • Prices: Adult £23, child £23, under-2s £7.
