About Ocean Lab - Sea Trust Wales
The Ocean Lab is the base of operations for the charity Sea Trust Wales.
At the Ocean Lab there is a Local species, catch and release aquarium "Sea Môr", Café, Discovery room, Gift shop and Offices.
Sea Môr Aquarium - This a is a local species, catch and release aquarium meaning the animals are kept for a limited time and release back into the wild. The aquarium is a sneak peek into the amazing world of the Celtic Sea. It focuses on conservation and Education. In peak seasons, make sure to book online to avoid disappointment.
Café - A Barista coffee with a view. The Café offers light food and wonderful refreshments with a view of the entire bay from the ground floor or gallery on the first. There are also events on in the evenings, check our social media for updates.
Discovery Room - Virtual reality experience into the Celtic Sea. Games and microscopes to discover even more. The VR experience is a paid experience bookable online while the games and Microscopes are free and open.
Sea Shore Safaris - Fishguard Bay is home to a huge variety of different marine species and habitats. This makes it a brilliant place to go rock pooling. Let us guide you onto the beach and show you where this diversity of seashore life hides when the tide retreats.
Gift Shop - Marine-themed gifts, Local Crafts, Eco friendly. From large cuddly toys made from recycled bottles to locally made sterling jewellery and quirky mugs, there is something for everyone.
Booking - Most experiences are bookable and is highly recommended in peak seasons and bad weather. Check our website for booking details.
Parking - There is council-paid, electric and disabled parking all less than 50m from the door. There is also a free all day and 2-hour stay carpark on the other side of the road, behind and next to Tesco Express and the Garage.
