About Graig Wen Glamping - Yurts
Glamping in Eryri / Snowdonia National Park, surrounded by 45 private acres of wild woodland and open space near Barmouth and Dolgellau. At Graig Wen you wake to birdsong, big skies and sweeping views over the Mawddach estuary, with mountains and sea in easy reach.
Follow our steep track down through the trees and step straight onto the scenic Mawddach Trail, where the tide, light and weather are always changing. From here you are close to sandy beaches, waterfalls, ancient castles, steam trains, bike trails and high peaks, so every day can feel different.
Choose a cosy yurt, beautifully crafted shepherd’s hut or heated wagon and settle in under the stars. Families, couples and solo travellers can all find a quiet corner, with campfires, dark skies and the sounds of the forest around you.
We live on site and offer a warm welcome, with local tips on the best places to eat and secret spots to explore. Start the day with freshly baked croissants and barista coffee, then pick up local craft beers from our small shop to enjoy by the fire at night.
Dogs are welcome and there are miles of footpaths from the door, plus dog friendly beaches, cafes and pubs nearby. Graig Wen has been recommended by national media and recognised for its green ethos, including Go North Wales Best Glamping and Camping Site 2021. Glamping experiences vary through the seasons, so check what is available when you plan to visit.
