IAAF/Cardiff University World Half Marathon Championships

2016 is Wales’ Year of Adventure, so #FindYourEpic and run with Olympic Champion, Mo Farah along with up to 20,000 amateur runners in the IAAF/Cardiff University World Half Marathon!

The event will take place in Cardiff on Easter Saturday 26th March and registration for the event is now open.  This is a one-off event, the World Half Marathon Championships has never been to Wales before and might not come back so this year’s finisher’s medal is going to be a real collector’s item. 

More than 200 of the world’s best athletes from 50 countries will descend on Cardiff to battle it out for the prestigious World Half Marathon Championships title and they will be joined by up to 20,000 amateur runners who will get the unique opportunity to ‘Run in the Footsteps of Champions’ by completing the same iconic 13.1m route around Cardiff at the same time as the world’s best runners.
