A weekend packed with Welsh events
There's enough events for a whole week taking place this weekend, including Rugby, Pro Surfing, Food tasting and even Axe throwing.
Rugby World Cup in Cardiff 18 Sept onwards
The Webb Ellis Cup by Rugby World Cup 2015
Match 3 of the 2015 Rugby World Cup takes place in Cardiff on Saturday 19 September with Ireland taking on Canada at the Millennium Stadium. Followed on Sunday by Wales' first game of the tournament against Uruguay also at the Millennium Stadium. If you don't have tickets, head to the Fanzone right next door at the Cardiff Arms Park to soak up the atmosphere and celebrate in style with 10,000 other rugby fans.

Thousands of foodies are heading to Abergavenny this weekend to sample the best food and drink the UK has to offer. The annual Abergavenny Food Festival showcases over 220 stallholders displaying the best in food and drink from Friday to Sunday. Welcoming over 30,000 people to Monmouthshire this year's festival features over fifty food experts sharing their culinary expertise.

This one's a bit special. Red Bull and Surf Snowdonia have created the first surfing competition 10 miles from the coast. Red Bull Unleashed, takes place at the world's first publicly surfable Wavegarden lagoon, displaying an exciting new format for competitive surfing. 24 world class surfers including 6 times Welsh champion Rhys Barfield are heading to North Wales to go head-to-head in the first competition of its kind at Surf Snowdonia.
