All classes led by experienced, qualified teachers. Open to absolute beginners, improvers and advanced dancers. No partner needed, everyone welcome.
Dance workshops are led by Norma Daykin. As well as salsa there is an opportunity to learn popular club dances such as cha cha cha and bachata. You don’t need to bring a partner, and classes are suitable for all abilities, including absolute beginners. There will be an opportunity to practice your technique or simply relax and make new friends at our Saturday evening party.
Yoga sessions are led by Sarah Waterfield. These are interspersed throughout the programme, to invigorate and relax your body and mind, keeping you light and refreshed and ensuring you get the most out of the weekend. Yoga sessions are suitable for all levels of yoga experience
The Teachers Norma Daykin has been dancing for almost her entire lifetime and is a qualified instructor with over 17 years’ experience of teaching salsa and other dance styles. When not on the dance floor, she is also a busy musician, collaborating with performers from all over the world. Her unique combination of skills allows her to draw on an in depth knowledge of latin music and rhythm in order to help you to put real musicality into your dancing.
Sarah Waterfield has been teaching yoga for over 17 years, is a qualified teacher as well as a trainer of yoga teachers. She also loves dancing and her yoga sessions this weekend are uniquely tailored to address the needs of dancers’ bodies and minds.
