Scenic canal boat trips on the Montgomery Canal through some of the most beautiful Welsh countryside.

From the Llangollen Wharf you can embark on either a horse drawn boat trip or a motorised aqueduct cruise, both of which take in the magical sights and sounds of the beautiful Llangollen Canal.

Goytre Wharf is located on the canal with over 200 years of industrial heritage to discover. The site is now developed for leisure within an area of outstanding natural beauty, but still retaining many of its historic features.

The Wharf Visitor Centre is open on Sundays from Easter to end of September from 1.30 – 4.30 and Bank Holidays from 11 – 4 for boat trips on the Montgomery Canal, light refreshments, gifts, local crafts and books.

Enjoy a two hour cruise along the Llangollen Canal, taking in the sights of the beautiful Dee Valley and culminating in a crossing of Telford's mighty aqueduct at Froncysyllte.
