The peaceful village of Llanddewi Brefi is situated at the foot of the Cambrian mountain range and is an excellent area for walking, cycling and fishing. Other local interests include the Kite Centre and Tregaron Bog – an exceptional area for bird enthusiasts and nature lovers. If you fancy days out – other attractions include: Oakwood Leisure Park, the Museum of Welsh Life, the National Botanic Gardens and of course the impressive Cardiganshire coast with its lovely beaches. The University town of Lampeter is approx. 10 minutes drive, whilst the coastal towns of Aberaeron and Aberystwyth are 40 minutes. Our local shop and post office is 2 miles along the road.
Llety’r Wennol is an original stone barn, sympathetically renovated as self catering holiday accommodation for all seasons. The barn has been tastefully converted retaining much of its charm and character but offering the comfort of under-floor oil fired central heating, large wood burning stove and solar panels.
The barn comprises: Entrance hall with access off to utility room: housing washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. Off the utility room is the shower room, with wash basin and WC. Through the entrance hall you pass into an open plan area offering fully fitted and equipped kitchen with electric cooker, slow cooker, fridge, dishwasher and microwave, also a small hi-fi system. The breakfast/dining area, comprising table and chairs leads you up two steps into the lounge with ample comfortable seating, wood burner Digital TV & DVD player. Upstairs, there is one twin bedded room, one double bedroom with king-size bed. Bathroom with wash basin, WC, bath and hand shower.
Llety’r Wennol is situated adjacent to the owner’s property, in a quiet location against a woodland setting. The barn has a small private south facing terraced garden and patio with lovely views along the Teifi Valley. The patio provides garden table, chairs and BBQ. Ample parking space is provided.
