Home to the newly renovated Bryngarw House, the park has well over 100 acres of beautiful parkland to explore including a picture-perfect picnic spot on the lawns in front of the house. Its native woodlands, formal gardens and secluded glades make it the perfect setting for explorers, young and old, to enjoy a day out in the open air. Bryngarw was officially opened as a country park in 1986 now celebrating its 30th anniversary attracts over 200,000 visitors each year. It has recently been awarded a prestigious Green Flag by Keep Wales Tidy, demonstrating that it meets the very best standards in environmental and heritage conservation, and that it is well maintained and provides excellent facilities and safe access.
