The 4 star bunkhouse has a unique setting of being situated above the White Hart Inn, on the edge of the Brecon & Monmouth Canal, with the Taff Trail emerging to the side of the establishment.

White Hart Inn is an ancient coaching Inn with large bar and beamed dining room, both with log fires.

The White Hart Inn is in the popular village of Tal y bont on Usk, nestled in the lush green folds of the Caerfanell Valley, between the Black Mountains and the Usk Valley of Mid Wales. Come and enjoy a warm welcome, good food and the best kept real ale in the country (We boast!).

Facilities offered nearby include pony trekking, fishing in the river Usk, hill walking and mountain biking on the Taff trail.
The Bar and Restaurant below is open daily providing fine food, drink and entertainment. The Bunkhouse & Pub enjoy a superb location alongside the navigable Brecon & Monmouthshire canal and directly on the Taff Trail bridleway route, www.ramblers.org.uk from Cardiff into the Brecon Beacons National Park, which is very popular with walkers & mountain bikers alike.

The canal towpath is on many other walking, cycling & mountain biking routes such as the Lon Las Cymru, the cross Wales section of the Nation Cycle Network (Route 8).
Families with children, walkers, mountain bikers and sightseers are all welcome.
