About Bryn Derwen

Dwygyfylchi, a peaceful coastal village close to Penmaenmawr, protected by two headlands and nestled in to the base of the Sychnant pass (the old route over Conwy Mountain to the World Heritage site of Conwy Castle and walled town. The wide sandy beach is seldom busy and ideal for walking, games and all manner of family fun. Turning inland the surrounding hills are full of history, footpaths and incredible views not to mention the local pubs, restaurants and of course Penmaenmawr golf course which is on the doorstep. If you feel like exploring further afield you don't have to go far; Anglesey, Caernarfon, Snowdon, Llanberis and Zip World are all within 30mins drive to the west, to the east, a few minutes and you are in Conwy town, or the coastal resort of Llandudno, a little further on to the south is the popular village of Betws Y Coed and of course there is all that lies between.
