As part of the expansion, a spa, treatment rooms, and gym will open to guests in early 2020. The original building and 20 guest bedrooms will undergo further refurbishment to four-star quality, while the period lounge bar will receive a contemporary yet sympathetic remodelling, with the current reception being removed to create a link directly into the new wing.

The family owned hotel has received investment since 2008. Refurbishment of 20 bedrooms, renovation of the Coach House, construction of the Orangery Restaurant and a purpose-built garden marquee with full length glass panels showcasing stunning views over the Cynon Valley have firmly established the hotel as a quality destination venue and retreat set in glorious Welsh countryside.

Llechwen Hall’s success and ongoing development has always been thanks to a passionate and dedicated team. We could not be more proud to unveil the new guest rooms and facilities that celebrate our Welsh surroundings, heritage, hospitality, and producers. Everyone at Llechwen is excited to embark on the next stage of its journey and ever-evolving history."

The Orangery Restaurant has held an AA Rosette for the last 10 years. The modern menu features seasonal produce sourced from local Welsh suppliers, and a wide variety of inventive dishes and patisserie prepared daily. Catering to a wide range of dietary tastes and requirements, the all-day and a la carte menus include a variety of creative vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free specialities.

Located close to Caerphilly and Pontypridd, Llechwen Hall Hotel is 20 minutes from Cardiff and one mile from the A470 main trunk road.
