About Melin Talgarth Mill

Powered by the flow of the River Ennig, Talgarth Mill is a fully restored 18th century working Flour Mill, a Bakery with its wood fired bread oven and a Riverside Café serving local seasonal food and drink. Outside the mill, watch the restored water wheel turn and walk along the banks of the river through the beautiful Riverside Gardens.

You can watch the Miller grind the grain, learn about Talgarth Mill and its history. Visit the Mill Shop and choose a gift made by local artisans or buy some Talgarth Mill Flour to take home and bake with.
The Bakers Table Cafe offers a wide-ranging menu of meals and treats. Breads and cakes, made using mill ground flour, the Millars Lunch with fresh bread, crisp salad and Welsh Cheeses is very popular and the soup of the day is always freshly made and fills up a treat before you set off to expore the Mill.

Tour guides will be on hand to show you around the Mill, explian how it works and help you make sense of all the cogs and wheels that convert th epowere of a small river into a device to change wheat and corn into flour.
