Clyne Golf Club
Located on the southern side of the Gower Peninsula, Clyne Golf Club enjoys fabulous 360 degrees views of both coast and mountains. This 18 hole golf course was designed by legendary Harry Colt in the 1920’s and has many challenges across the 6,432 yard course, particularly at some of the high points where the coastal breeze can catch golfers off guard. Whereas the original layout of the course remains today, there have been some major developments and the course has become a 72 par course, which hosts frequent golfing events.
Clyne Golf Club also offers small groups bed and breakfast accommodation on site at its 4 star Somerfield Lodge which consists of six en-suite twin rooms adjacent to the clubhouse and only yards from the first tee. In addition to access to the course at Clyne, the golf club have negotiated rates with four neighbouring golf clubs including Ashburnham Golf Club, Pyle and Kenfig, Langland Bay Golf Club and Pennard Golf Club and can arrange tee times at each club so teams can make the most out of their stay.
