Builth Wells Golf Club
Originally founded in 1923 as a nine hole course, Builth Wells Golf Club has since been developed to become 18 holes. It is set in the quiet and tranquil countryside and just a short drive from the historic market town of Builth Wells (Llanfair-ym-Muallt). The course is unique in that there are no par fives from the Championship tees. It is made up of 12 par fours and six par three's. The course measures 5,444 yards, par 66 off Championship tees and 5,232 yards, par 70 for women and is as much a challenge for the scratch golfer as it is for the high handicapper. A hidden gem for golfers with natural characteristics including the River Chewfri, which runs through the course along well-protected greens.
Cradoc Golf Club
Situated in the beautiful Brecon Beacons, Cradoc Golf Club is an 18 hole course with countryside views. It has an abundance of wildlife living in the natural surroundings of tree lined fairways and a 10 bay undercover all weather driving range which is also floodlit for those wishing to play during the evenings.
Llandrindod Wells Golf Club
Located on the outskirts of the town is Llandrindod Wells Golf Club (main picture). The course was designed by not just one but two Open Champion players Harry Vardon and James Braid and is one of Wales' most loved golf courses. Providing stunning and tranquil countryside views, this course not only relaxes and rejuvenates the mind and soul, its fast true greens and fairways provide teams with some real challenging shots. The clubhouse offers visitors a great dining experience in its 60 seat dining area whilst the terrace provides relaxing views of the countryside.
