Dating back to at least 1419, Hensol Castle is steeped in history, and is a venue that is sure to impress. Set within the 650 rolling acres of beautiful countryside, this stunning Grade one listed building is privately owned and forms part of the Vale Resort. Hensol Castle has been home to many families throughout its history and in the 1800s belonged to Benjamin Hall, who oversaw the rebuilding of the Houses of Parliament and installation of Big Ben, which is thought to be named after him.

Six beautifully designed meeting rooms, including the flagship courtyard hall with its natural wildflower roof, are the result of a multi-million pound refurbishment to meet the exacting needs of meeting planners, while retaining the period features that reflect the castle’s history with its grand entrance. Courtyard hall accommodates 320 guests theatre style and 200 banquet, the other five rooms host between 10 and 100 delegates per room theatre style and each enjoy commanding views across the estate and serpentine golf course lake.

Adding to the wealth of activities to be enjoyed here, Hensol Castle Distillery is a craft spirit distillery incorporating a cocktail bar, gin school and experience, a wonderful incentive activity combined with exclusive dining at the castle. There is also an exciting range of team building activities both on and offsite from canyoning in
Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park to archery and cookery classes within the resort, making it an ideal location for team building events or a rich offering of out of conference activities.
