Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life is a series of events raising money for research into all 200 types of cancer.

It’s time to lace up your trainers, and walk, jog, or charge your way around Race for Life 2024

3k - 10:00 start
This is a 3k for everyone - uniting with one purpose - to raise valuable funds for life-saving research. The Aberystwyth route makes its way along the promenade from end to end. An enjoyable flat route on paved ground, it really captures the beauty of the Aberystwyth coastline. In such close proximity to the town centre, this route has many spectator cheering points and is a great day out for all involved.
10K - 09:00 start
10k is a great step up from our 5k events; that's still achievable for everyone.
The Aberystywth course runs along the promenade, Marine Terrace, New Promenade and S Marine Terrace from end to end. It starts on Marine Terrace heading towards Constitution Hill, then running back along the promenade towards the RNLI Lifeboat Station. The course then follows the national cycle path to u turn in Maesyrafon Car Park. The course then returns down the cycle path to S Marine Terrace to return back to the finish line.
