About Royal Welsh Show July at Royal Welsh Showground

The Royal Welsh Show attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors to Mid Wales for a four-day event of livestock, forestry, crafts, countryside sports, shopping, food and drink. Each day there is a 12-hour programme of entertainment, attractions and displays.

The Royal Welsh Show is one of the most prestigious events of its type in Europe, bringing together the farming industry and rural community in a celebration of the best of British Agriculture with a unique and very special ‘Welsh' flavour.

This year a new addition to the equine section will be the Ridden Part-Bred classes for nonpedigree horses and the national shows for British Blonde Cattle and Kerry Hill Sheep.

The main ring will have displays including The Regimental Band of the Royal Welsh and The RAF Falcons, military parachute display team. There will also be more than 400 retailers and trade stands and the Royal Welsh food showcase of the food and drink industry.
