Waves, Mud and Mountains is a 10k obstacle course mud race which will take place at world-first
inland surf lagoon, Surf Snowdonia, in North Wales.
Competitors taking part can expect to find themselves pitted against the elements, including over-water agility tests, a mud-based assault course, ice bath and barrel carry.
Competitors will also take on the might of Europe’s biggest wave pool – by running through Surf Snowdonia’s powerful man-made waves. It’s the equivalent of pushing against 6 million gallons of water over a distance of 300 metres.
Waves, Mud and Mountains will conclude with a run up the notoriously steep Dolgarrog Water Pipe incline, in a part of the course organisers are calling the ‘stairway to hell’. Competitors will enjoy sweeping views of the Conwy Valley as they make their descent back to the finish line at Surf Snowdonia.
On site glamping accommodation from £25 per night, with hot tubs and sauna. There will be DJ entertainment, food and drinks in Surf Snowdonia’s bar after the event.
