Corris Craft Centre | The Candle Studio

A wide range of traditionally hand carved, scented and novelty candles are individually crafted in the Candle Studio at Corris Craft Centre. Watch as unique designs are hand carved by self-taught candle maker Kym Francis.

Step into the studio and see Kym at work on most days, hand carving our beautiful range of unique candles in a range of colours and sizes. Whether you’re looking to create a cosy and intimate atmosphere or a themed candle for a special occasion, we’ve got the candles.

An exclusive range of candles are produced for Christmas, including carved candles, Christmas puddings, Christmas trees and picture candles. For Halloween, candles carved into ghoulish ghosts and skulls and garden torches are available.

HAVE A GO AT MAKING YOUR OWN CANDLES
Customers can make their own candles by starting with just a wick and dipping it into various colours to produce a pair of tapered candles with up to four different wax colours. This activity takes about 15 minutes and then another 15 minutes for the candles to set before you can take them home to enjoy.
