Solva Sailboats sailing school was set up in 1986. Since then hundreds of individuals have learnt to sail or drive powerboats starting out from our base on Trinity Quay. We have a small fleet of well-equipped boats, carefully chosen to take best advantage of our remarkable surroundings. Our courses and sailing trips provide a unique opportunity to view a huge variety of marine life in its natural habitat. We are recognised by the Royal Yachting Association and accredited members of the Wildlife Safe Operator Scheme.

We are one of the very few dinghy schools operating on the open sea and offer a wonderful sailing experience. We set out to build a strong dinghy, easy to maintain and easy to use. We put twin wheels at the back to make handling on shore simple and built in a general purpose stainless steel handle.
