Old Colwyn Golf Club founded in 1907 and designed by James Braid is a 9 hole meadowland course situated within a mile of the A55. Excellent views of the Welsh hills and panoramic views of the Irish Sea and bay of Colwyn Bay from the 9th/18th makes one want to linger a little longer before putting out. The signature hole of this course is the Par 3 (7th/16th). With a tee shot of 162 yards the ball requires carry all the way over three oak trees to the green. There is a ""bale out"" area for the less able or adventurous golfer!
