Llanymynech Golf Club

Pant, Oswestry, Shropshire, SY10 8LB, England

Llanymynech is where Ian Woosnam learnt his golf. You play in two countries 'for the price of one'. On the 4th you drive off in Wales and putt out in England. Offa’s Dyke footpath, the ancient border of England and Wales runs alongside the course and many remnants of the hill fort structure can still be seen today.

The course measures over 6000 yards and is set in 100 acres of magnificent countryside deemed so valuable it has been declared as a site of Special Scientific Interest. The views over Shropshire and Mid-Wales are breathtaking. 12 of the old English and Welsh Shires can be seen on a good day all the way from Cader Idris by the Welsh Coast to the Peak District.

Full clubhouse facilities are available for visitors including our lounge and dining room where Sharon and Sam will be more than please to provide you with something from their excellent range of bar snacks or something more substantial from their dining room menu. If the thought of playing a hill course is putting you off we have buggies available for hire via our pro shop.
