Snowdonia Cycling Holidays

Bryn Teg, Dyffryn Ardudwy, Gwynedd, LL44 2HX, Wales

We will give you a wonderful cycling experience, comfortable accommodation and delicious food. We want you to return home relaxed and refreshed with memories of a part of Wales that you would perhaps not have seen, had you not embarked on this holiday.

We will take you (depending on your break duration) on either two or three guided rides cycling along the coastline crossing the Mawddach estuary, or into the mountains through valleys with beautiful rivers running out of the mountain lakes. The rides begin and end at Bryn Teg and range in distance from 25 miles (40 km) to 50 miles (80km). Groups are made up of no more than six persons per holiday, and rides will be catered for by tailoring the route to the requirements of the group. Refreshment stops along the way have been tried and tested, and conveniently placed! We have ample off road parking and bike storage facilities.

In addition to these holiday packages, we also offer standalone half and full day guided road cycling rides. We have a detailed knowledge of the best cycling routes in this part of Snowdonia. The roads are quiet and the scenery is outstanding. These rides begin and end at Brynteg, and can be customised to your requirements. The cost of these rides is £20 per person for a half day and £30 per person for a full day. Please call us to book your ride.

To provide you with the very best accommodation we have teamed up with Tim and Sally. They run a 4 star farmhouse bed and breakfast, situated approximately 1 mile from Bryn Teg. Tim and Sally will be your hosts at their beautiful home throughout your stay. We will provide transport to and from your accommodation. At their farmhouse all rooms have en-suite facilities with flat screen TVs and built in Freeview. There is a choice of standard double and king size beds, with one single room. Guests also have the benefit of an outdoor swimming pool and a hot tub.

The day will begin with a hearty home cooked breakfast using produce from an award winning butcher.

Refreshment stops on the rides are conveniently placed although food and drink purchased during these stops is not included. Each ride will be completed with a cup of tea and home made cake at Bryn Teg.

After you have refreshed and unwound from your ride, we will pick you up from Tim and Sally's and bring you back to Bryn Teg for a three course evening meal served with a choice of red/white wine and/or beer. Meals are homemade and cooked with locally sourced and home grown produce.
