1-acre modern cottage garden with an emphasis on attracting wildlife and recycling materials. Woodland, ponds, perennial borders and a kitchen garden give yr-round interest. Meandering paths join areas and give unexpected views within the garden. Spring bulbs make the garden particularly pretty in April and May
We’ve made a garden with birds, bees and butterflies in mind. The daffodils, tulips and other bulbs give the bees a head start in spring and make a striking display we can enjoy from our house. Children will love our ponds which are dragonfly, frog, toad and newt nurseries bordered by yellow, white and blue irises in June and full of pink, white and yellow water lilies. The 15th April opening will have an Easter egg trail especially for children, and May 20th will be devoted to Planting for Bees.
