About Thousand Island Expeditions

Take the Ferry Boat to Ramsey Island and retreat into your own world of island magic surrounded by seals, seabirds and the myriad of flora and fauna that make up the beautiful Pembrokeshire Islands.

The Thousand Islands Adventure is one of our most popular trips. We depart from St. Justinians crossing over the swirling currents of Ramsey Sound. Your voyage takes you beneath the magestic cliffs adorned with nesting seabirds and colonies of seals. There's also a chance to see our resident porpoise.

On our Whale and Dolphin trips we venture offshore towards the Celtic Deep in search of whale and dolphin. We also circle Grassholm Island, home to the third largest gannet colony in the northern hemisphere.

We frequently see sightings of porpoise, common dolphin and rissos dolphin. o
occasionally minke, pilot, sei, fin whale and orca.

In the evenings we take a boat around Ramsey Island to see the seabirds, seals and dramatic scenery. As light dims we watch the hundreds of Manx shearwaters return to the islands from offshore.

Families and individuals enjoy our 1 1/2 hour and 3 hour Fishing trips. Catch a fish for your super. The skipper and crew will show you how to fish if you want assistance.

A limited number of Guided Walks on Ramsey Island with a member of the RSPB are available to book.
