Llyn Alaw is a large lowland reservoir in a rural setting in North Anglesey. It is well known for it's rich feeding that produces wild Brown Trout up to four pounds in weight yearly and allows stocked rainbow to double their weight in the several months after stocking. Llyn Alaw is one of the most productive lakes in Wales. Corixa, shrimp and rudd fry are the staple diet of the brown and rainbow trout.
