There are fanastic walks up to Llyn Du lake and further afield to Cwm Ystradllyn lake (a mecca for fishermen and birdwatchers alike). Situated 2 miles from the small village of Prenteg, 3.5 miles from the village inns and shops at Tremadog and 4.5 miles from the harbour town of Porthmadog, it has everything close by whilst being a great bolt hole to relax in and watch the world go by.
