During July and August the area within the town walls is traffic free and visitors can enjoy 'al fresco' dining at one of the many cafes and restaurants. Take a boat ride over to Caldey Island a pretty island run by an Order of Cistercian monks who make their own perfume and chocolate which is sold in the island shop. Apart from the four beautiful sandy beaches to choose from there are plenty of local attractions to enjoy and all are within a short driving distance.
