Rhayader is ideally placed to explore the popular Cambrian Mountains of Mid Wales, which stretch south to the Brecon Beacons. Walking, cycling, horse riding and bird watching can be enjoyed in the area, plus the Elan Valley is a short drive. Or why not watch the red kites at local feeding stations?

There are many pretty country villages surrounding this luxury farmhouse, including Abbey-cwm-hir, St Harmon and Pant-y-dwr, where local agricultural shows are held annually.
