From the foothills of Snowdonia a country lane leads down to the farm and farmhouse with its little stone cottage attached which is festooned with multicoloured flowers. The cottage is in a split level design and is much larger than the photographs suggest. The comfortable lounge has two large picture windows full of countryside scenery. The owner has recently installed a lovely sunny decking area which is perfect for a 'panad' or a glass of wine, while enjoying the views and the sound of the little river at the bottom of the field. A newly fitted kitchen/breakfast room is in a traditional farmhouse style leads to an enclosed patio to the front of the cottage which catches the dappled evening sunlight. There are countryside walks from the door up into the hills or down into the historical village of Clynnog Fawr (1.5ml) whose 13 century church dominated the coastline marking the route to Bardsey Island. Beaches at Trefor (4ml) or 2ml stretch of sandy beach at Dinas Dinlle (6ml). Excellent location for touring Snowdonia and Lleyn Peninsula, the market/harbour towns of Pwllheli (10ml) to the south of Caernarfon (10ml) to the east have shops and restaurants, Caernarfon has an impressive castle and remains of a Roman Barracks. Llanberis village (12ml) at the foot of Snowdon mountain has many attractions including a lake and steam trains.
One double bedroom. Bed linen and towels provided. 2-seater sofa bed also available. Would be better suited for 2 children rather than 2 adults.
Shower room has an enclosed shower, newly refurbished in April 2014. Access is through the living room.

Large enclosed garden which is shared with the owner, but part of which is for guests sole use with garden furniture for enjoying the magnificent views across the countryside to distant mountains in Snowdonia. Enclosed patio to the front.

The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.
No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.
Mini-breaks & Weekends: Bookings that are for less than 7 nights are only bookable within 21 days (some properties are within a different amount of days) of the start date of the holiday. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's usual change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner.
