Guests regularly return to this prestigious family home located on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park because it is ideal for families seeking peace and quiet in comfortable surroundings, making it one of our most popular cottages we have been renting out over the years. This 200 year old property is tucked away above the village of Penrhyndeudraeth, two miles from Porthmadog, with a narrow gauge steam train passing the drive gates a few times a day. The large, recently added, conservatory offers grand panoramic views across the Afon Dwyryd Valley to the Cambrian Mountains beyond. A walk (or short drive) will take you through the village, passing shops and inns en-route to the interesting estuary foreshore where Portmeirion village (as seen on TV!) is situated. Black Rock Sands is a 3ml stretch of sandy beach and is only four miles away. Beddgelert is arguably Snowdonia's loveliest village, sitting at the foot of Snowdon Mountain at the confluence of two rivers and to get there you will enjoy the most scenic 5ml drive.

Three bedrooms: One kingsize. One double (with wash basin). One single with pull out 2' 6" child's single. Bed linen provided. Please bring your own towels & tea towels (hire available).

Conservatory features wicker sofa and two chairs and small folding dining table. Electric heating.
Central heating and electricity is inclusive

Large garden enclosed with hedges on the boundary and garden furniture to enjoy the panoramic views.
Ample parking.
Secure storage for bikes in tool shed.
Child's booster chair, stair gate and travel cot available.

A single £27 Booking Fee applies to all bookings and is included in the price shown. Bookings for 2 weeks will be eligible for a £27 Multi-week Saving. Please claim this in the 'Additional Information' box that appears during the booking process and we will adjust the total before deducting the money from your card.

We strongly recommend that you take our Cancellation Protection (see Terms & Conditions). This has already been selected for you when you book, so simply de-select them on the bookings screen if you already have holiday insurance or if you do not want any cover.

The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.

No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.

Mini-breaks & Weekends: Bookings that are for less than 7 nights are only bookable within 21 days (some properties are within a different amount of days) of the start date of the holiday. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's usual change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner.
