Tal y Foel Guest House

Tal Y Foel, Dwyran, Llanfairpwllgwyngyll, Isle Of Anglesey, LL61 6LQ, Wales

Welsh Tourist Board

Tal y Foel is the home of Lewis and Judy Hutchings, and is on the shore of the Menai Strait (see the map to get your bearings). It is small and friendly, and in a peaceful rural location with spectacular views across the Strait to Caernarfon Castle and the mountains of Snowdonia. It is ideal for birdwatching, walking and fishing. We are near Newborough Forest and the beaches and tourist attractions of South Anglesey.

We offer bed and breakfast accommodation in two large en-suite rooms, one double/twin room with a double and single bed and one double room with additional bunk beds. Both rooms have an en-suite washbasin, bath, shower and toilet (all with whirlpool baths). Both can take an additional bed or cot.

Next door the Anglesey Riding Centre offers individually designed riding holidays for adults or family members.

There are tea and coffee making facilities, radios, TV's, hairdryers and supplementary heating in all rooms. Guests are encouraged to make use of the house, including the conservatory (which has a games cupboard). Other facilities include a high chair, hairdryer and iron. Musicians can make use of the piano and organ in our private lounge.

There is a choice of reasonably-priced evening meals in nearby restaurants, or you can bring your own food and drink back to consume on the seashore, in the conservatory, or in the garden at Tal-y-Foel.

Minimum 2 nights stay. Payment by cash or cheque only.
