The Britannia inn was built in the 14thC by the Monks of the nearby Valle Crucis Abbey. The Inn is situated at the foot of the Horseshoe Pass and has a commanding view of the Vale of Llangollen. Well known throughout the area for it's good food and hospitality, the Inn is a favourite for locals and holiday maker's alike. Featuring in many quality Food and Hotel guides it has also featured in many publications abroad, more recently it was favoured in the L.A. Times as the place to stop in North Wales.
