Plas Gwyn Caravan Park

Llanrug, LL55 2AQ, Caernarfon, Gwynedd, Wales

The Caravan Park is a small, quiet, family run site. Developed within the grounds of Plas Gwyn House. The house was built in 1785 in the Georgian style with a colonial style veranda from which Anglesey can be seen. Snowdonia can be seen from the rear of the house and park.

Plas Gwyn has the mountains and lakes of Snowdonia nearby, with the Isle of Anglesey and its many splendid beaches within 15 minutes easy motoring. The excellent shopping facilities at Bangor and the castled town of Caernarfon can be reached by regular local bus service.

Nearby Llanberis boasts the Snowdonia Mountain Railway, Padarn Lakeside Railway, Padarn Slate Museum, Craft Workshops and the Electric Mountain. Golf, fishing, canoeing, sailing and horse riding are all available locally.

The site has three distinct areas catering for static holiday caravans, touring caravans and camping. Flush sanitation, thermostatic controlled showers, wash basins with hot & cold water, shaving point, hair dryer and a dish washing facility are available, also a convenience shop, laundry, Calor & Camping Gas, battery charging, electrical hook up and tourist information. Clean, well behaved pets are welcome.

Comfortable two and three bedroom holiday caravans are available for short break and weekly hire. All have hot and cold water, shower, flush toilet and are equipped with full gas cooker, refrigerator, microwave cooker, mini vacuum and colour TV. Charges include bed linen, gas & electric.
