St David's is the smallest city in the UK, famous for its magnificent 12th century cathedral and ancient Bishop's Palace. It is situated in a hollow, out of sight of pirates, some ten minutes walk from the Pembrokeshire coastal path and is a centre for artists and naturalists, inlcuding bird lovers.
