Brailsford Way: Gwynedd cycle routes open in honour of Sir David Brailsford

Two stunning cycle routes are to be launched this weekend in tribute to Wales’ cycling legend, Sir David Brailsford.

Both cycle routes that make up the ‘Brailsford Way’ will be launched as part of the Snowdonia Etape cycling event that kicks off from Caernarfon on Sunday 12th June. The 50 mile and 75 mile routes include tough climbs as well as thrilling descents through the heart of Snowdonia and its stunning picturesque scenery.

Talking about the routes, Sir David Brailsford said “I’ve been lucky enough to travel the world riding bikes, but for me only one place stands out and that’s home. There’s no better cycling, or a more stunning part of the world than Snowdonia. It’s such an invigorating place; I never leave without feeling better than I did when I arrived.”
