11 April 2014 David Emanuel’s Perfect Day Fashion designer and King of the Jungle, David Emanuel recently returned to his roots to tell us all about his “Perfect Day”. David who was born and brought up in Bridgend, recently returned to his home town to record a special film as part of the BridgendBites Perfect Day campaign. David visited a number of old haunts around his hometown and along the Glamorgan Heritage Coast. They included St Illtyd’s Church, where he was once a choirboy, the village of Merthyr Mawr with its pretty thatched cottages, Southerndown beach and Ogmore castle. He then enjoyed a well-earned lunch and pint in the Pelican, a picturesque country pub at Ogmore by Sea. Enjoy this?
