Anglesey in Top 10 Tripadvisor islands

The island of Anglesey with its natural beauty and historical sites has won a place in the Top 10 UK islands, as reviewed by Tripadvisor users.

The majority of Anglesey's 125 mile coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Which can be explored via the Anglesey Coastal Path. Taking in stunning scenery of beaches, flower-dotted heathland and mud flats busy with birds.

From the natural to the man made, Anglesey has an assortment of attractions created by different generations for very differing reasons. From Neolithic and Bronze Age burial mounds to copper mines on Parys Mountain and Thomas Telford's suspension bridge giving Anglesey a permanent link to the rest of Wales.

A stunning island, but keep it to yourself, mum's the word.
