January Weekend Activities at WWT Llanelli Wetland Centre

11am - 12pm Wildfowl Wonders workshop. How do birds keep warm and dry in winter? How are they adapted to wetland life? Get the answers to these questions and more as you join our team to examine bones, feathers, diet and other key areas of our feathered-friends’ lives. What will you discover?

1pm Guide in the Heron's wing hide. Our beautiful Heron's wing hide looks out over the vast wetland landscape of the reserve. A great place to see many species, from pintail to birds of prey. Our guide will be on hand with the telescope to help you get a better look.

2pm - 4.30pm Winter craft workshop. Drop in at any time between 2pm and 4.30pm at craft corner to take part in our winter craft workshop, making pom pom robins, bird feeders, bird nesting stockings and lanterns! Small charges apply to cover the cost of materials.
