The Snowdon 500 challenge is celebrating its 10 year anniversary this year. Every year the aim is to get 500 people to climb Mount Snowdon.
This year the charity climb will take part on the 13th and 14th of May. You can choose to climb the mountain on the Saturday or Sunday. There will be mountain rangers and experienced event marshals monitoring Snowdon, and all funds raised go towards funding research into treatments and a cure for prostate cancer.
£35 registration fee per person and a target of £250 fundraising each.
The challenge will take approximately five hours to complete the climb. Walkers should take this into consideration.
