Taking place on Saturday the 23rd of April 2016 at 1.00pm, the Goldrush Trail race visits some of the best trails and singletrack that Coed y Brenin has to offer. The Goldrush trail is also the most recent of all of the Coed y Brenin running trail offerings and receives rave reviews from all runners who embark on its challenging 8.5 miles!
Organised in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Mawddach, the event also incorporates one of the best canicross (runners racing with their dog) events on the calendar. The Goldrush Canicross participants take on the very same route as the trail runners, starting 20 minutes afterwards at 1.20pm.
You can also be safe in knowledge that your efforts on the day will make a difference to local charitable causes, as £3 from every entry will be donated directly to the Mawddach Rotary club.
Entry for the 2016 event opened on the 7th of December, 2015 at 9am and we expect places to be very popular with 200 runners and 50 canicross competitors expected.
