Storiel Museum and Art Gallery

Ffordd Gwynedd, Bangor, Gwynedd, LL57 1DT, Wales

The galleries have a wide-ranging programme of exhibitions by local and international artists. A range of solo and group, contemporary and historical exhibitions are featured. Changing regularly, the galleries always offer inspiration.

Over three main exhibition spaces; ‘Introduction to the Collections’, a focus on ‘Life and Work’ and thirdly, ‘Connections’, some of the artefacts and stories of Gwynedd come to life. Amongst the items shown are the famous Roman Segontium sword, the Welsh Not, the Four Alls tavern sign, impressive Welsh dressers and the King of Bardsey’s crown.

The Shop is the place to purchase contemporary, original handmade gifts in Bangor. We stock a mix of unique hand-made crafts including ceramics, jewellery, greeting cards and prints by up and coming designer makers. We also sell stationery and special
homewares – all ideal treats for oneself or great gifts for loved ones. The Collectorplan Scheme, which is an interest free credit service, is available to individuals to purchase original and contemporary art and craft from both the gallery and shop.
