Criccieth Traeth y Promenade

Criccieth's two beautiful beaches are separated by its prominent medieval castle, perched on a small headland. Traeth y Promenade, the eastern beach, is sheltered from the prevailing westerly weather and its shallow water makes it a safer place for paddling and swimming. It is also popular for boating and you will find the Lifeboat Station and a convenient car park. The beach is backed by a promenade which has good access for disabled people.

Blue Flag & Seaside Award beach. Cafe and shop next to the beach and there is a good range of shops, cafes and pubs in the town set back from the the beach. Pay parking, toilets. Dog restrictions apply April to end September.
