These are complemented by one of the widest ranges of dry land activities we have on offer; including archery, which takes place at our Tan Troed centre, only one mile away.
Royal Oak is our first centre offering hard accommodation, which is provided in modern, purpose-built cabins. Children stay in cabins sleeping ten or twelve in two or four berth rooms; each cabin has a small lounge area with the toilet and shower block situated close by. Teachers stay in cabins sleeping up to eight with their own en-suite facilities and lounge. Other facilities at Royal Oak include a canteen, shop, drying room, playing field, teacher's lounge, meeting/entertainment room ideal for evening activities, outdoor basketball court and large marquee which can be used in inclement weather.
Our exclusive centre is located just west of Abergavenny. The surrounding area has a justifiably great reputation.
