YHA Port Eynon

The Old Lifeboat House, Porteynon, Swansea, SA3 1NN, Wales

Welsh Tourist Board

Once a lifeboat station, YHA Port Eynon is in a beautiful position on the Gower with an award-winning beach on its doorstep. The beach has enough sand and rock pools to keep the children entertained for hours. The bay is also extremely popular for all watersports and there is storage for surfboards, canoes and other bulky equipment at the hostel. With the Gower Coastal Path and cycle trails crossing this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and its 34 miles of heritage coast, YHA Port Eynon is an outdoor enthusiasts dream. A beautifully cozy, modern hostel inside with family and private rooms available. Sit on the picnic tables outside and enjoy your first drink of the day watching the sunrise, or have an early morning swim from the slipway outside. Visit Rhossili Beach (voted Britains best beach 2010) for the wonderful sunsets and a cheeky drink or walk out to 'The Worm' Island if the tide is favourable.
We are a warm, friendly, very popular hostel, so please phone in order to stay(01792 391794), or book on the website(www.yha.org.uk).
