Lovely views of the lake and sunny barbecues at the end of a day on the balcony. The chalet is all on one level and the valley side location with tall leafy trees growing up from below creates a lovely 'treehouse' feel. French doors in the lounge open right out to let in the fresh air whilst inside is cosy with a wood burner effect electric fire. Relax after enjoying the Snowdonia National Park in this homely chalet at Glan Gwna within walking distance of the village of Caeathro, 2ml from Caernarfon. The chalet has a beautifully prepared interior with a smart walk-in shower which makes it very convenient. Glan Gwna is a select holiday retreat in the wooded grounds of a country house with an outdoor swimming pool and restaurant for guests (open in the summer only). The new Welsh Highland steam train station by Caernarfon castle is only a short 2 mile drive, Llanberis and the other little train up Snowdon is only 6 miles away and the award winning sandy beach at Dinas Dinlle is 8ml. This is a very central situation which is ideal for all, couples in particular enjoy the peace and tranquility of the park. Caernarfon has interesting restaurants within the town walls, hidden taverns in the narrow streets, a harbour with boat trips to see the isle of Anglesey. A convenient location for visiting Snowdonia, north Wales coast and Anglesey.

Two bedrooms: One double bedroom and one single bedroom with a pull out single (2' 6" bed; suitable for a small child). Bed linen is provided, but please bring your own towels & tea towels. The bedrooms are compact therefore there is no room for a cot in the double room only in the single room if the pull out bed is not used.
Shower room with an electric shower and WC.
Lounge/diner: TV, DVD, electric fire and French doors leading onto a large balcony with patio table and chairs.
Attractive kitchen with electric hob and oven, fridge and microwave.
Ample parking.

A single £27 Booking Fee applies to all bookings and is included in the price shown. Bookings for 2 weeks will be eligible for a £27 Multi-week Saving. Please claim this in the 'Additional Information' box that appears during the booking process and we will adjust the total before deducting the money from your card.

We strongly recommend that you take our Cancellation Protection (see Terms & Conditions). This has already been selected for you when you book, so simply de-select them on the bookings screen if you already have holiday insurance or if you do not want any cover.

The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.

No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.

Mini-breaks & Weekends: Bookings that are for less than 7 nights are only bookable within 21 days (some properties are within a different amount of days) of the start date of the holiday. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's usual change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner.
