Back to nature, peaceful Tipi and Yurt Glamping site set on a small holding, just one mile inland from sandy beaches of the beautiful island of Anglesey, North Wales.
It is a very secluded site with four yurts and one tipi, all set in private clearings, surrounded by young woodland, with individual picnic bench and space for barbecuing. There is a communal space with a fire pit and seating area under canvas. For those who are looking for a romantic break we have a Yurt perfect for two, it has its own fire pit, and can be used as a cosy space for up to 3 people.
It is a perfect place to relax and with plenty of space for children to run around safely, with hammocks to discover, dotted about in the woods and willow crafted structures to explore.
The yurts and tipi are furnished to create a nice, cosy space with all the essential, cooking equipment and comfortable furnishings. At dusk the interior of your chosen accommodation become a magical space with the help of fairy lights. All you need to bring is your own bedding (sleeping bag or duvet, pillows, sheets) food, torch and good footwear i.e. wellies or walking boots.
Our facilities include hot showers, washing sinks and flush toilets which are installed in a wooden cabin, about 200 mitres from the site, near the car park and there are also compost toilets and washing up sinks in close proximity to Yurts and Tipi.
As a small holding we are growing a modest selection of vegetables, herbs and fruits and have a flock of chickens. Our produce are available to guests so you can enjoy free-range eggs for breakfast and fresh, ecologically grown vegetables and herbs which are available according to the season.
Based just 1 mile away from the coast there are lots of sandy beaches to explore including some of the most beautiful in the UK (Newborough, Aberfraw, Red Wharf Bay) and also many delightful footpaths. There are several Nature Reserves and Sites of Special Scientific Interest, one of which Cors Goch lies just 1 mile away and is internationally famous for its wide ranging wetland species. There are also many ancient monuments to explore, including standing stones, burial chambers and settlements with Din Lligwy ancient village site just 5 minutes drive away. Snowdonia National Park is also nearby.
